Hopatcong Youth Wrestling

About Our Program

We are an instructional recreation program that serves athletes in preK through 8th grade. We have a co-ed team of wrestlers that continues to grow in strength and size each season.

Our season begins mid-November. Practices for the novice level are two days a week and JV/V practices three times a week in town.

This year are joining the NNJ league and will remain in the King of the Mat league for novice wrestlers.

The novice jamborees are held on the weekends, usually Saturdays and the other levels have matches on the weekends and weekdays.

Each league has their own end-of-the-year tournament, which is included in the registration fee. In addition, we always encourage our athletes to wrestle in open tournaments throughout the year. Our coaching staff has a presence at these events as well.
